Meritking ActionPrivacy policy
Effective 21 September 2026. Applies to the Meritking Action app for iPhone.
The short version: Meritking Action has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics and no advertising. Everything you do in the app (clubs you follow, matches you star, poll votes, settings) stays on your phone. The only network traffic is the request for live football data.
Who we are
Meritking Action is published by the developer reachable at faustinelaroche@innovativesoftwaregames.info. Write to that address with any question about this policy or about your data.
What the app stores on your device
The app keeps a small amount of data in its own storage on your iPhone so that it remembers your choices between launches:
- Clubs, competitions and matches you follow or star
- Your Fan Pulse votes
- Whether you have completed the welcome screens
- A history of the alerts shown to you
- A short-lived cache of match data to reduce network requests
This data never leaves your device. It is deleted when you delete the app. You can also clear follows and votes at any time from the app's settings.
Match data and network requests
Scores, fixtures, line-ups, statistics and club badges come from API-Football, a football data service operated by API-Sports. When the app fetches data, API-Sports receives the technical information that any internet request carries, such as your IP address and the time of the request. The app sends nothing about you beyond that: no identifiers, no name, no location, no list of the clubs you follow.

Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules them locally on your phone for goals, kick-off, confirmed line-ups, half-time, full-time and red cards involving the clubs you follow. No push server is involved and no notification token is sent anywhere. You can withdraw permission at any time in iOS Settings.
Fan Pulse polls
Fan Pulse is an opinion poll: home, draw or away. Your vote is stored only on your device. The community percentages shown after voting are illustrative and are not collected from other users. There are no stakes, prizes, odds or payments of any kind.
What the app does not do

Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Your rights
Because the app keeps no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to export, correct or erase on your behalf. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us at the address above and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
